Social Work
Since qualifying from the London South Bank University in 1980 I have worked as a social worker. My experience includes working in a psychiatric hospital, a Health Centre, for CAMHS and in an area office. I have operated as an Approved Social Worker under the Mental Health Act and also as a Practice Supervisor.
From 2002 to 2006 I was a Senior Practitioner Consultant at the Clermont Unit in Brighton, a specialist child protection unit. I am an Associate Lecturer at Sussex University, teaching on a number of social work courses.I am registered with the General Social Care Council. Registration number 1030243.
